My portfolio

me

This is me, I am Lau Zheng Xiang, 17 this year and I am currently in Singapore Polytechnic studying Common infocomm programme. Since the age of 10 I have always aspired to be a musician, but as I grew older I realised that I need to be very good in music in order to make a living out of it. So I told myself to make this a hobby while working hard in my studies, so at least I can have a back up plan if I'm not good enough in music to make a living. By the way this picture was taken in Japan when I went for this first family trip that my brother planned. As you can see I'm quite a fun person because I'm willing to be the joke to make people smile and laugh. Little did you know I am actually a little introverted when I meet new people. Fun Fact I'm also a cat lover.

I can also be a serious person, in Band it is all about having fun and making good music. I will always practice and try to correct my mistakes and play my part well. I was appointed the band leader in primary school band and music major in secondary school. I have learnt a lot as I got the chance to be a leader to help lead the band and from all this experiences it developed me to be a resilient person in both my studies and in music. I will always make sure I do not give up in music and my studies, even if I have problems coping there is always a way out. Never give up when you are stressed you just have to find a way that you can release your stress, for me it is just to go for band practice or listen to some music or even talk to other people.

This picture was taken at my house HDB carpark where I happened to walk through the carpark because it was raining outside when I saw this cat sitting on the car I immediately took out my phone to capture this elegant moment.

This was taken right at the void-deck of my HDB Blk this cat was just chilling at the side of the staircase and happen to be sitting like that and again I stopped and took out my phone to capture this moment.

This was taken at Kyoto Japan when my family was on the way back to the train station we saw three cats playing on the grass and as usual I took out my phone again to capture one of the cat and this was one of the most perfect shot.
